Overview

FinancialForce Accounting is a full online accounting solution. The latest release – “Winter ’10” – expands the application’s financial management capabilities once again:

• Enhanced debt management support enables companies to automate and manage their cash collection processes more effectively.
• The new “integration rules” facility – with its straightforward point-and-click user interface – makes it easier than ever to pull business data from other key systems into FinancialForce Accounting.
• Process-based launchpads and role-related dashboards deliver a uniquely user-focused application to help users navigate detailed finance processes and keep vital information at their fingertips.

Financialforce Accounting includes the following key functions:

• Accounts Receivable

  – including more streamlined and accurate sales invoice creation and processing, through to cash matching, aged debt analysis and cash collection management – for example:
  • the ability to create an invoice directly from any "opportunity", support case or other billable activity captured in Salesforce CRM
  • sophisticated deferred revenue recognition scheduling capabilities
  • tailored and scheduled payment reminder mailings.

• General Ledger accounting

  – supporting accountants’ key processes. The market-leading unified-ledger design and flexible chart of accounts structure of CODA’s on-premise financial software is now available on demand. It includes:
  • multi-currency and multi-company operational transaction handling
  • bank reconciliation and budgeting
  • day-to-day reporting and analysis

• Accounts Payable

  – covering the Invoice to Pay process, to support vendor management, purchase invoice processing and payments.

• Reporting and Dashboards

  - better financial visibility across your organization. FinancialForce Accounting users also gain a range of ready-made and customizable financial reports and dashboards, which enable you to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and get a real-time view of all areas of your business.
